Constable Joseph MacDonald Bursary

Established in memory of Sudbury’s Constable Joseph MacDonald who lost his life while on duty in 1993. This bursary honours his commitment and dedication to the young people in this community.

This entrance bursary will be awarded to a City of Greater Sudbury secondary school student who will be attending Laurentian University, with preference being given to a student who resides in a Greater Sudbury Housing Community.

The recipient must be a resident of Ontario, demonstrate financial need, provide a letter of reference from their high school and provide proof of residency in Sudbury Housing, where applicable. Application required.
