HARD-LINE Award in Mechatronics

Established in 1996 in Sudbury, Ontario, Hard-Line is a leading innovator and manufacturer of automation, teleoperation and remote-control technology specialized in the mining industry. Hard-Line has a proud track record of supporting the community in Northern Ontario. The company recently gifted the Bharti School of Engineering, $250,000 to support continued excellence in their mechatronics program. The purpose of the HARD-LINE Award in Mechatronics is to provide financial assistance to one student entering the first year of study in Mechanical Engineering at the Bharti School of Engineering at Laurentian University. The successful recipient will demonstrate an interest in mechatronics or robotics (robotics competitions, self-directed projects at home etc.). One recipient will be chosen to receive the $1,500 award. Preference will be given to applicants from Northern Ontario.
