Intend to Apply for OSAP?

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program funded by both the provincial and federal governments that helps you with the cost of postsecondary education.

OSAP funding includes:

  • Grants – money that you do not need to repay.
  • Loans – money that you will need to repay when you are finished school.

OSAP considers many different factors when determining how much financial assistance you may receive, including:

  • Your educational costs (e.g., tuition, fees, books, whether you are living away from home, travel costs, where you are studying).
  • The financial resources you use to contribute to your postsecondary education (e.g., family income, savings, scholarships).

Use the OSAP aid estimator to find out how much OSAP you may be eligible for.
