Program Changes

Water Science and Environmental Health (BSc)

Our Applied Water Science program has been renamed Water Science and Environmental Health. The new name more accurately describes the content of the program, including the emphasis on the fundamental principles of water science related to the chemistry, biology and physics of water. The new name also reflects the goal of this program: to provide you with a fundamental knowledge of water science and general knowledge of environmental health.

The course offerings and program requirements have also been updated, giving you more choice as a student. The number of electives has been increased, giving you more opportunities to complete electives in biology, chemistry, or geography and environmental studies. The greater choice of electives means you'll study water science and environmental health from different fields of study and perspectives.

Geography (BA or BSc) and Environmental Studies (BA)

These programs have moved from the Faculty of Arts to the Faculty of Science at Laurier.
