Residences and Meal Plans
Residence costs are based on building style and whether the room is single or double occupancy.
For 2019–2020, residence costs ranged from $6,360 to $8,040. These costs are subject to change for the 2020–2021 academic year. For more information, visit Brock's residence website.
Brock offers 6 individual residences in 3 styles: Traditional, Semi-suite and Townhouse.
Traditional-style and Semi-suite style residences have both single and double rooms grouped into communities of “houses” or “halls” of 40 to 60 students. Washroom facilities are shared.
Townhouse-style residences offer the convenience of on-campus living, with a more independent lifestyle. You will share a unit with 2, 3 or 4 other students and have the option to cook your own meals.
- All rooms in Quarry View Residence are singles.
- There is 1 double room and 3 single rooms in each Village Residence unit.
- Townhouse-style residences also feature a kitchen, living area and 2 bathrooms per house.
All residences are close to the main buildings on campus. Several rooms are designed to accommodate those with mobility devices.
Residence fees include utilities, local telephone and network connections.
We are happy to guarantee residence to all new students who attended a Canadian high school, full-time, in the preceding academic year, and to new students with no prior postsecondary experience, whose primary residence is outside of Canada. Brock must receive both your residence application and fee prior to June 1, 2021.
We are excited to launch a new food experience in September 2020. A residence meal plan is mandatory for all students living in residence (not including Brock Suites upper-year residences).
An All-Access meal plan provides unlimited meals, either 5 days or 7 days a week, to both of our DeCew and Lowenberger dining halls. Our dining halls are designed as an all-you-care-to-eat restaurant, led by a team of chefs who focus on fresh local ingredients and provide healthy meal options.
If you are living in a traditional residence, Lowenberger, DeCew, Vallee or Earp, you will be required to choose a 5-day or 7-day All-Access meal plan.
If you are living in a non-traditional residence, Village or Quarry View, or Lofts Block 9, you have the choice of purchasing a Townhouse Plan, Townhouse Plus Plan, 5-day or 7-day All Access meal plan. The Townhouse Plan gives you 10 swipes per week and the Townhouse Plus Plan gives you 15 swipes per week at either the DeCew or Lowenberger dining hall. Unused swipes will expire at the end of each week.
All plans include both Dining and Flex dollars to enjoy at our other campus dining locations.
Meal plans range in price from $3,750 to $5,100. To see a breakdown of each plan, visit the Dining Services - Meal Plans website.
